Why is the water flow weak?Updated 2 days ago

A weak water flow can have several causes. Try the following checks:

1. The filter or water outlet is blocked

Clean the filter opening and the drinking tray cover to remove any dirt, hair or other debris that may be restricting the water flow.

2. The filter was not prepared correctly

Before installing a new filter:

• Fully soak the sponge filter in clean water.
• Thoroughly rinse the BASF Ultrafiltration (UF) filter under running water.

This helps remove trapped air and ensures optimum water flow.

3. Mineral deposits or dirt build-up

Over time, limescale and other deposits can affect the fountain's performance.

• Clean all fountain components regularly.
• Replace the filters as recommended to maintain optimum water flow.

Tip: If the water flow remains weak after cleaning and preparing the filters correctly, restart your Klyqa Welly and check that the fresh water tank is filled and the dirty water tank is correctly installed.
